About Us
At Vintner's Cellar Winery of Chicago, we are very proud of our wine making. Our wines are hand crafted in small batches from grapes grown around the world. We select the best crops each harvest and import the juice into our winery from our blender/presser in Quebec, Canada.
Partners, Gary Schafer and Carol Wieland invested in the franchise shortly after Gary and his, wife, Joanne received a gift certificate to make their own batch of wine at a North Dakota location. After making their first batch of wine, they thought it was a unique and fun concept and something they wanted to bring to Chicago.
